America's Got Talent Recap: Fire Burning » Celebrity Gossip

The America's Got Talent auditions continued to limp along Tuesday, with producers emphasizing that contestants had to go big or go home in St. Louis. It's unclear such an emphasis was placed in this city, but we seemed to have grabbed a very interesting cross-section of auditions from all over the United States.

I had my doubts when the first few auditions included the awful drummer/mom who played "I Will Survive" and lacked a band; a woman who crushes cans with her hands (instead of her boobs; a dancing chicken; and an awkward unicyclist/lassoer - but the auditions picked up. Too bad we didn't actually see many of them. On to a full recap!

Spencer Horseman - After having a really poor escape artist last night we not only get a good looking escape artist in Spencer but a very dynamic performance that involved the right amount of danger. The fact that he had to fall to a mat to prevent his death was amazing. I predict that he'll automatically make it through to the live rounds and not have to do anything in Vegas just to prevent his accidental death. Some of his websites claim that he's also a "comedian" so I wonder if we'll ever see them.

Isaac Brown - You know when little children get to get away with saying whatever they want? Isaac had personality and it made up for how pitchy he was. I would love if he had his sisters and parents as backup dancers. Someone better call up Nickelodeon or Disney, because this kid needs to be part of a development package.

The Cut Throat Freakshow - I would have been impressed by the glass stepping woman if it wasn't for the viral video of the woman dancing on butter. For some reason, I would have watched butter woman much more than her. The eyelid lifting was similar to Captain and Maybelle from last season but with a lack of staging.

Tom Bonham - The slightly creepy puppet guy didn't have the Disney touch that made it family friendly. It was like watching a cracked out It's A Small World that a kindergarten created. While I'd love to see what he would have done in Las Vegas at least Howard and Sharon had the brains to say no.

"Little Ozzy" - We've had impersonators before, but I can't remember a little impersonator. The vocals weren't that bad at all, but I don't know where this goes. If this was a Vegas act, I'd love to see a full "Little Celebrity" group, even though that hugs the line of exploitation and taste.

Ron Christopher Porter Jr. - The queen-y guy was actually not a bad voice-actor. It's just not a Vegas act. I could see him do the opening to the winner's show, but it was a good video for a resume. He basically allowed Curtis the trash man to get another two minutes of camera time in front of America.

A letter Michael Jackson wrote to his former wife Lisa Marie Presley - in which he complains of chronic insomnia - was set to be sold at auctioned ... before until Lisa Marie found out, threw a fit and demanded it be taken off the block.

She didn't say why she wanted the letter pulled, but it's easy to guess.

Written sometime between 1993 and 1996, the letter from MJ reads: "Smell here [arrow with box] Lisa I truly need this rest I haven't slept litterally [sic] in 4 days now. I need to be away from phones and Business people."

"I must take care of my health first Im' [sic] crazy for you Love Turd."

Yes ... Love Turd.

Michael Jackson died June 25, 2009. Dr. Conrad Murray, who was injecting him with the hospital-grade anesthetic Propofol to help him sleep, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years behind bars.

Julien's Auction in Beverly Hills didn't elaborate on the incident beyond stating that Lisa's request was of "a personal nature" and "we wanted to honor the request."

We can read between the lines.

Ray J: Sued for Missing Marc Littlejohn Apparel » Celebrity Gossip

Ray J continues to feel the affects of Whitney Houston's death. This time in the wallet, however, as opposed to the heart.

Indeed, the man who made Kim Kardashian famous has been sued by stylist Marc Littlejohn because he allegedly hired Ray J to wear his clothing for a Grammy-related event on February 10. The problem?

Those items were supposedly left in the hotel room where Houston died and, according to the lawsuit, have been missing since the day this singer passed away.

Littlejohn is therefore suing Ray J for the cost of the clothing ($2,880) and demanding either the cash amount or the duds themselves. He's had no luck so far in either case when reaching out to the artist or his mother.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd: New Couple Alert? » Celebrity Gossip

Dancing With the Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy was photographed kissing fellow pro dancer co-star Peta Murgatroyd this weekend, sparking rumors of romance.

On Saturday at the Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas, Maksim was there celebrating with Peta, who won Dancing With the Stars with Donald Driver last week.

That wasn't the only time the hard-bodied pair and rumored couple were spotted together in Sin City. Witnesses have seen them together all over Vegas.

And, at the opening of Chmerkovskiy's new dance studio in Connecticut on May 23, the pair stood arm-in-arm while he whispered in her ear. Hmm ...

"She's had a crush on him for a long time," a source tells People of Peta. "They are really great together. And he is very happy. It's early but I think this will last. They're a great match, a good couple. She says they're not dating but they are. Everyone knows it."

Still, at the debut of the Dance With Me studio (which Maks opened with his brother Val and fellow pro Tony Dovolani), both danced around questions.

"I'm here to support Maksim," was all Murgatroyd would say about Chmerkovskiy, who wouldn't directly address the nature of their relationship either.

"I try to keep certain things private just because – what's a politically correct way of saying it? It's none of anybody's business," he said. "It's very intimate and personal."

Yeah. They're totally doing the horizontal Argentine tango.

Dina Lohan to Star in "Hollywood Exes" Reality Show » Celebrity Gossip

Unstable, overbearing and generally painful Lindsay Lohan momager Dina Lohan is set to produce a Broadway-based reality show AND star in Hollywood Exes, a new reality show scheduled to air VH1 about … well, you can figure that out.

The former spouses of Prince, Will Smith, R. Kelly and Eddie Murphy will also participate. Along with the ex-wife of … Michael Lohan? What's wrong with this picture.

Dina will be shooting several episodes, but is not a full-blown member of the cast, at least at the start. Producers reportedly brought Dina in because she's friends with members of Hollywood Exes' cast and believe that she will "spice things up."

Wait … Dina has friends?

Lindsay Lohan and uber-thin Ali Lohan will not be appearing on the show, BTW, nor will MiLo … which makes you wonder how Dina intends on spicing up anything.

Dominic Monaghan Accuses Matthew Fox of "Often" Beating Women » Celebrity Gossip

This might make all future reunions of Lost cast members a bit awkward...

In response to a follower yesterday asking Dominic Monaghan to encourage former co-star Matthew Fox to join Twitter, the man behind Charlie Pace replied: "he beats women. No thanks."

Was this simply a reference to the drunken incident from August 2011 when Fox was accused of punching a female bus driver? Nope. Elaborated Monaghan to another Twitter fan:

"you don't know either of us. he beats women. not isolated incidents. often. not interested."

Moreover, the actor isn't afraid of any kind of legal retaliation by Fox because "an accusation is when you 'claim' someone did something wrong. i know," Monaghan wrote. "And it's very difficult to sue someone for speaking the truth."

Wow. Somewhere, Fox must be seething. And Team Breezy members must be lining up to defend him.

Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron are at major odds in Snow White and the Huntsman, which hits theaters on June 1.

But don't let their fictional feud fool you: these two stars couldn't be more in awe of each other! That much is made clear in the latest issue of Interview.

“She is unlike anyone I’ve ever encountered,” Stewart says of Theron. “She is one of those people who walks into a room and everyone knows it.”
