Kate Middleton’s DIY Sausage and Jam » Gossip - While being a member of the Royal Family has its myriad perks, it seems Kate Middleton is still happy to do things herself whenever possible.

And according to a new report, the Duchess of Cambridge, who appears on the September 2012 issue of Vanity Fair, prefers to make her own sausage links, strawberry jam, and plum preserves in her Anglesey, Wales kitchen.

Kate and her hubby Prince William also would rather stay home and watch marathon television shows on DVD instead of constantly occupying the spotlight.

Ms. Middleton is also said to be busy overseeing the renovations of their new Kensington Palace apartment, making sure the $1.5 million decorating project is going according to plan.
